Tent
April found this tent on sale for a great deal and got it for the children. They set it up in the living room and slept in it for nearly a week. Now, in theory, we can occasionally go camping in separate small tents where the parents can have privacy.
Happy Father's Day
We celebrated by eating homemade applesauce cake (Kevin's favorite) and opening presents. Each of the children made him a nice personalized card, and for some reason he thought he needed a power sander. And here is a lovely photo one of the children took of Yuki, the wonder dog.

Cherries
Kevin brought home about 17 pounds of lovely cherries from some trees in Brigham City. We spent a few hours washing, pitting, cutting and arranging them on drying trays. The end yield was approximately 3.5 pounds of dried cherries--yum! We use them in trail mix and homemade granola.
Water Party
Our Primary held a water party one Thursday morning. The children enjoyed playing water balloon volleyball among several other fun games with their friends.
Lucky Clover
Ian found two four-leaf clovers in our back yard. Here he is with the first one. We viewed this as a good omen for our upcoming bear trapping experience. Stay tuned...
