The Toilets
Australian toilets are much more conservation-oriented than US toilets. There is little water in the bowl, and there are two flush options: half-flush and full flush. We found that we could get by using the half-flush option all the time, except for the time we tried to flush our hotel cockroach--that little critter even clung on through the full flush (video clip available upon request).

We were very surprised by the graphic warnings on cigarette packages.
