Local Discount Book Store

Our family has a weakness for books. A few weeks ago a friend told us about a used
book store at the south end of town. Patrons can go in and fill up a bag of books for only $7.00 + tax! We spent over an hour browsing and would have stayed longer and creatively stuffed more in, if Dallin's patience had lasted any longer. The downside to the store is that the organization is only by broad category, and the books are highly disorganized individually within each category. So plan on taking some time for searching if you choose to visit. Since our purchases averaged 0.23/book, nobody was complaining (well...other than Dallin).

Here is our stash of books.
The bag was splitting at the seams!

We found some for Dallin.

Erin had fun choosing for herself too.

April found several for our homeschool library.

Ian was disappointed they didn't have the current bestsellers
(i.e. Fablehaven series), but he managed to pick out a few.

And Megan was a bit disappointed that the only copy of a Warriors book we could find was one she already has. She admitted to enjoying the experience, however, and we plan to return periodically. We can hear Kevin groaning as he reads this from his computer in Ephraim. Don't worry, dear, we got you your very own copy of Matt Ridley's Genome, which we're certain you'll enjoy!
