It was a busy Saturday, but well worth our efforts. We met with the Crook and Wallis families to make cider. Keith Munk was also there and put in a full day's work. The weather was chilly, but not rainy like some years.
We processed a variety of apples we had collected from the Crooks' orchard and from the Malouf's orchard in North Logan.

We still think the best addition was the hot water heater from a couple years ago.

Dallin is at a difficult age for the cider party.
He's mobile enough to not enjoy sitting in a box
and watching us work unless we bribe him with a cookie!
We ended up with 60-70 gallons of cider by 9:00 p.m. YUM!

That was such a fun weekend! Great to spend time with dear friends, and the weather was lovely. What a nice break from the day-to-day pressures of life. Plus the cider is delicious!
