Our Son's Sensitive Side

Ian tries to be the typical tough boy, yet he does have a very compassionate side to him that surfaces now and then. After we had all stayed up late the other night working on Science Fair projects, we found this on our bed, folded up and stuffed in a mostly empty jar of dried mangoes (April's midnight snack food). Melts your heart, doesn't it?

Oh, that is so sweet!! Ten points to Ian for that.

We love dried mangoes, too. We never buy them though, just because we eat them so fast that it's like we don't get our money's worth for the satisfaction of having them around for a while. (Does that even make sense?)

That is the sweetest thing ever. I hope you do go on a date and get ice cream.

Aw, that is sweet! You'd better not let him know how everyone is gushing over this, if you want it to happen again!
